Catch the action at our shiny, new complex
There's been much buzz around San Francisco's brand-new Chase Center in the Mission Bay neighborhood—and rightly so. The city's first-of-its-kind, multi-purpose arena serves as a world-class sports and entertainment destination, attracting enthusiastic fans from near and far. Among other exciting distinctions, the venue has become the new HQ for the NBA's Golden State Warriors basketball team (who played home games at Oracle Arena in Oakland since 1971).
The stats alone impress—the venue offers 18,064 arena seats, 100,000-plus square feet of retail space, and 24,000 square feet of public plaza facing the waterfront (not to mention office and lab space for some of the world's most innovative companies). The complex's concert hall is slated to host a slew of musical acts and theatrical shows; entertainers on the docket for the opening month alone include Elton John, Janet Jackson, Bon Iver, Metallica, Eric Clapton, Dave Matthews Band, Eric Church, and John Mayer.
