The man behind our Union Square bar
Hailing from Savannah Georgia, Ryan Hall is our Man Behind The Bar at Kimpton Sir Francis Drake. Ryan started his career as a bar back supporting veteran bartenders at The Old Pink House in Savannah staying there for several years immersing himself in the world of spirits and fine wine. After a couple years of leading the bar team at restaurant 11Ten, he joined the Kimpton family on the opening bar team at Pacci Italian Kitchen. Less than a year later, he brought his love for the cocktail to San Francisco to lead the bar program at the Sir Francis Drake. At the helm, Hall stirs up his “Bitter Italian” cocktail, a twist on the classic Negroni, and crowd pleasers like the “Starlight in Napa” with strawberry infused vodka, St. Germaine Elderflower and Mumm Napa sparkling wine. Ryan Hall brings his own flavor of Southern Hospitality to the Sir Francis Drake, joining the ranks of some of the best cocktail makers in the country who have called the Sir Francis Drake home.
